Gear & loot
Materials, keys and supplies
Your pouch and gold, what the dead drop for contracts, plus keys, ember vials and purifying salts.
Materials drop from the dead and are scooped up as you walk over them. Traders want them for contracts, and the Bone Merchant pays best for them.
The pouch
- Under your backpack: one slot for your gold and one for every material in the game. Materials go straight in, never into the backpack, so bones and silk don't crowd out loot.
- No stack limit, with the count in the corner: yellow up to 99,999, white from 100K, green from 10M.
- Materials you haven't found yet show as faint pictures, so you can see what's still out there.
- Your gold is a pile of coins that grows with the sum, from one coin to a hoard.
- Drop any amount of gold or a material: right-click and Drop some..., press the drop key or drag it off. A slider, a number box and quick picks (1, 10, 100, 1K, Half, All). Dropped gold lands as a coin pile as big as the sum.
- Same risk as everything else: the pouch is lost if you die and banked when you extract. Contracts take from it first.
