Clothes that fit the bones (fishmonger and casino staff)
- Fixed: the fishmonger's and the casino skeletons' clothes clipped through their bones (and the bones through the clothes).
- Cause: the clothes were boxes and cylinders at guessed sizes. The ribcage reaches 17 cm in front of the spine, but the smock, apron and waistcoat sat at 8 to 11 cm, so the ribs came through. The hat crown was narrower than the skull and sat too low.
- Fix: a new measures each of the rig's parts once, slice by slice along its length, and lofts each garment around that profile a set distance proud of the bone.
- Cloth hangs across hollows instead of pinching into them: the shirt falls straight from the ribs to the pelvis.
- Every layer on a part reads from the same measured profile, so outer layers stack evenly over inner ones, with no flicker where they overlap.
- Each garment rides on the same joint as the part it fits, so it fits in any pose.
- The fishmonger, refitted:
- an oilskin smock flaring into a skirt below the hips
- a gutting apron with a bib over it
- a belt with a buckle and a knife in its sheath
- a knitted cowl
- oilskin sleeves with cuffs, and rubber gloves from the elbow over the hands
- rubber waders over the thighs, shins and feet
- a sou'wester sized to the skull and raised clear of the eye sockets
- the pipe in his teeth and embers deep in the sockets
- The casino staff, refitted:
- Both: a linen shirt with a stand collar, a buttoned waistcoat, black trousers and polished shoes.
- The croupier: a crimson waistcoat, a bow tie, cuffed sleeves and sleeve garters.
- The dealer: a black waistcoat with brass buttons and a watch chain, a crimson tie hung clear of the chest, sleeves rolled above the elbow, and a green celluloid eyeshade.
- Screenshot mode : the three side by side, front, three-quarters and back, close up, and mid-gesture.
