Jewellery and materials, remodelled; rings on your fingers
- Every necklace, ring, material and supply has a proper 3D model, on the ground and in the inspector. They're built from real procedural geometry rather than stacked boxes and balls.
- Necklaces hang a chain of interlocking links (or a leather thong for the rustic ones), with the pendant drawn large at the bottom:
- Ember Charm: an oval ember stone in a gold bezel ringed with granules, with a faceted drop below.
- Wolf-Tooth: three curved fangs and bone beads on a cord.
- Grave-Salt Pouch: a gathered leather pouch, salt crusting its neck.
- Raven-Feather: a barbed, split vane with an oily sheen, in a silver cap.
- Blood-Vial: a lathed glass vial caged in silver wire.
- Skull-Lantern: a skull with candle-lit eyes and a row of teeth.
- Warden's Sigil: a rimmed medallion with a raised star.
- Prism Heart: a crystal in four claws.
- Tear of Vael: a glass drop with light trapped inside.
- Rings stand upright, stone on top:
- Faceted stones in claw settings, and a Moonstone dome in a bezel.
- A hammered Iron Band with grooves, and a Signet with a flame crest.
- A Serpent coiled one and a half times, with red eyes and a forked tongue.
- A Knucklebone ring of finger bones bound with sinew.
- A Cracked Halo leaking light, and an Eclipse Band with a black sun and a corona.
- The Band of Undying, with twin side stones.
- Materials:
- Knuckled long bones, one snapped with the marrow showing.
- A slumped sack of grave dust spilling out.
- A skein of spider silk with a wrapped cocoon.
- Grooved venom fangs with a bead of poison.
- A dented, riveted plate and a torn strap.
- A clay bowl of ash with glowing embers.
- Ghostlight in a stoppered bottle with a curl of light.
- A hex-crystal cluster on rock.
- Supplies: the Ember Vial is a corked, wax-sealed flask of fire, and Purifying Salts are a jar heaped with salt crystals.
- Still cheap: each model merges its parts into one mesh per material (a handful of draws), and is built once per look and shared by every drop.
- Rings show on your character. Ring 1 is worn on the left ring finger and ring 2 on the right.
- Each ring is fitted to the finger's own shape on either body.
- It's skinned to the finger, so it curls into your fist round a weapon. The stone or signet face sits on the back of the finger (fixed in v0.42.1).
- Over gloves or gauntlets, the ring sits on top of them, and it's refitted when they come on or off.
- You see them on your hands in first person, in the character screen, and on other players.
